lowerboundfloat (threshold type)

Thresholds with type="lowerboundfloat" enable a customizable lower limit under which a float result is considered invalid. This is typically used for score measures, where a larger value is better, and an upper limit is unnecessary.

This is an example definition:

    {name="FloatScore1", type="lowerboundfloat", default=80.0, range={0, 100}}

This is how it appears in the result section of the tool panel. The threshold is indicated with a single-handle slider for setting the threshold and the value of the result with the same name is indicated in the same control:

The current values of a lowerboundfloat-threshold is accessed via self.thresholds in execute, which provides a Threshold instance. To base the overall result of the tool on the threshold a value for Pass needs to be set in the output:

  local floatScore1 = 75.0
  output:add("Pass", self.thresholds.FloatScore1:contains(floatScore1))
